How to install and activate the Picture Optimizer WordPress plugin.

Install the Plugin

From a ZIP File

  1. Download the latest picture-optimizer.zip from your SerpTransformer dashboard
  2. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
  3. Choose the ZIP file and click Install Now
  4. Click Activate

Via FTP / File Manager

  1. Extract the ZIP file to get the image-forge folder
  2. Upload it to /wp-content/plugins/ on your server
  3. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Installed Plugins
  4. Find Picture Optimizer and click Activate

Verify Installation

After activation, you should see:

  • A Picture Optimizer settings page under Settings → Picture Optimizer
  • Process with Picture Optimizer buttons in the Media Library (both grid and list views)
  • A Bulk Actions dropdown option for batch processing
